Hosted by Carole Annett, the conversation will bring together three expert voices from the worlds of interior design, colour psychology and wallpaper, to explore how the walls around us can shape atmosphere, emotion and memory.
From creating a sense of mood and personality to evoking memories and transporting us through different eras, wallpaper is far more than a decorative finish. The panel will explore the psychology of colour and pattern, the stories held within historic designs, and the enduring heritage of the Cole & Son archive – quite literally, displaying history on your wall.
The discussion will also delve into the craft and artistry behind wallpaper: from design and technique to the processes involved in bringing a pattern to life. We’ll consider the integrity, value and depth of beautifully made wallpaper, and why thoughtful design can have such a lasting impact on how we experience our homes.
