Join English National Ballet School, one of the world’s leading ballet schools, for a spellbinding morning of dance, as our exceptional young artists perform a selection of traditional highlights, culminating in the passionate and powerful El Cid.
A classical piece with a touch of Spanish flair, El Cid draws inspiration from the legendary Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar, a Castilian nobleman and military leader in medieval Spain. This neo-classical work combines the elegance and precision of classical ballet with the colour, rhythm, and vitality of traditional Spanish dance.
Our talented Level 2 students will bring to life Lynne Charles’s choreography, set to the evocative music of Jules Massenet.
