Gloria Olajide

Gloria is an actor, writer and musician hailing from South East London. She’s a recent graduate of LAMDA, and her training credits include Alice Birch’s [BLANK], The Amen Corner by James Baldwin and The Lady from the Sea by Henrik Ibsen. 

As a writer and musician, she is interested in exploring the full colour and surreality of Black contemporary life in Britain. Influenced by artists like Octavia Butler, Alice Coltrane and aja monet, her practice works across forms, from musical improvisation to written prose, to explore the relationship between the personal and the political, and forge new sites of possibility, hope and liberation.
