Edie Ashley

Edie Ashley

Artist

Edie Ashley is an artist and explorer whose practice spans costume, found materials, and sound. Shaped by movement, underground culture, and the natural world, her work is rooted in journeys, collecting, and repair, transforming gathered objects and experiences into new forms and narratives.

Drawing inspiration from the road and the landscapes she encounters, Ashley explores themes of identity, sustainability, and connection through an evolving multidisciplinary practice. Her work often reflects a fascination with overlooked materials and the stories they carry.

She also performs as Dirt Bike Dub, creating sound-based works that extend her interest in place, rhythm, and cultural exchange. Alongside her independent practice, Ashley has worked closely within the world of Vivienne Westwood, gaining experience that continues to inform her approach to design, craftsmanship, and creative expression.
