Women’s Words: From Page to Stage
30 Year Celebration of The Women’s Prize For Fiction
To celebrate 30 years of the greatest celebration of women’s creativity in the world – the Women’s Prize for Fiction – some of the UK’s most compelling performers, including Sheila Atim, Sheila Hancock, Kate Mosse and June Sarpong, will take to the stage to read extraordinary writing by women. From letters and speeches to essays and fiction, these live readings will celebrate the words and voices of those that have shaped and inspired us.
From Page to Stage: Women’s Words. Taking place as the finale of the inaugural Chelsea Arts Festival, the evening will raise essential funds for the registered charity, the Women’s Prize Trust, supporting its mission to empower all women to raise their voices, tell their stories and share their expertise.
Expect an evening of heart and humour, of unforgettable performances and powerful words – all in support of a future where every woman’s voice counts.
