Katy Wickremesinghe, acclaimed British Sri Lankan businesswoman, founded The Wick & KTW, a strategic platform and advisory service that creates meaningful connections between art, commerce and cultural communities by engaging ‘culturally curious’ individuals. Through her work with international brands, major institutions and private collectors, Katy develops cultural capital whilst expanding opportunities within the art sector. Via The Wick, she produces specialist content and innovative approaches, enhancing inclusivity and accessibility within arts and culture.
Dedicated to eduaction and representation, she holds trustee positions at the Royal Academy of Arts, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Dulwich Picture Gallery. She frequently provides commentary on the relationship between cultural practice and commercial enterprise.
In 2024, Katy Wickremesinghe received recognition at the House of Lords, being named among the Top 50 Career & Professional Women in the UK for Business & Social Impact Start-ups by Women in Management.
