Tamsin Greig is one of Britain’s most acclaimed and versatile performers, with an outstanding career spanning television, theatre, film, radio, and voice work.
A familiar face to audiences around the world, Tamsin is perhaps best known for her iconic television roles as Fran Katzenjammer in Black Books, Dr Caroline Todd in Green Wing, Beverly Lincoln in the British-American comedy Episodes, and Jackie Goodman in the award-winning sitcom Friday Night Dinner. Her extensive screen credits also include Love Soup, Emma, Tamara Drewe, and Julian Fellowes’ acclaimed period drama Belgravia, in which she starred as Anne Trenchard.
Alongside her screen work, Tamsin has enjoyed a distinguished career on stage, earning widespread critical acclaim for her performances in both classical and contemporary theatre. In 2007, she won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress for her performance in Much Ado About Nothing, and received further Olivier Award nominations for The Little Dog Laughed and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. She has appeared in productions for the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre, and across London’s West End, establishing herself as one of the leading stage actors of her generation.
