Hannah MacInnes is a broadcaster, journalist and podcaster, who has conducted interviews with hundreds of figures from culture and politics. She regularly appears on Times Radio and currently leads the How To Academy‘s live events schedule and podcast series. Her writing has featured in the Radio Times, The Standard, TLS, and writes on Substack as The Conversationist.
Adept at exploring current global topics, Hannah particularly excels at examining where politics meets culture. Her thoughtful commentary on subjects from environmental concerns to literary figures stems from her thoroughly rigorous research approach, creating an inquisitive, dynamic, engaging and accessible perspective on diverse topics.
During her eight-year tenure as Planning Editor at BBC Newsnight, where she also worked as Producer/Filmmaker, she landed interviews with politcal figures like Silvio Berlusconi, Mikhail Gorbachev and Hillary Clinton and actors such as Helen Mirren and Mark Rylance.
